To avoid genital warts, you may want to avoid sexual intercourse with someone who has genital warts. Public swimming pools and public showers are also places where transmission of the human papillomavirus is common. Try to be wary of these places.

Strengthening your immune system will help you prevent getting warts. Eat healthy foods, get enough sleep and avoiding stressful situation are few of the things that can help boost your immune system.
